Thread Lifts are non-surgical procedures that use dissolvable threads to reposition sagging skin and stimulate collagen. Dr Blink uses both PDO and Aptos threads to achieve a natural lift tailored to each patient’s needs.

It Work?

Aptos Threads are a premium thread lift technology made of polylactic acid and caprolactone. These threads have barbs that provide a stronger mechanical lift than traditional PDO threads. They are inserted under the skin and gently pulled to reposition sagging tissue and promote deep collagen remodeling.

What makes Aptos Threads different from PDO?

How long is the recovery?
Most clients return to normal activity within 2–3 days, though mild bruising, puckering and tenderness may persist for a few weeks.
Are Thread Lifts painful?
Local anaesthetic is used for comfort. You may feel slight tightness or pulling for a few days. Sedation is available on request.
Can Thread Lifts be combined with other treatments?

What is puckering?

Puckering after a thread lift refers to temporary dimpling or rippling of the skin along the path where the threads were placed. It can look like the skin is being slightly pulled or bunched in certain areas.

How Long Does It Last?

In most cases, puckering is temporary and improves on its own within:
• A few days to 2 weeks for mild dimpling
• Up to 4–6 weeks in rare cases or when deeper lifting was done

How soon will I see the results?
