Before & After care
Before:
1–2 weeks before:
Avoid blood-thinners like aspirin, NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen), fish oil, vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, and St. John’s Wort to reduce bruising.
If taking prescription anticoagulants (e.g., warfarin), check with your provider.
Alert your practitioner if you have cold-sores (Herpes simplex)—you may need antiviral prophylaxis.
Avoid dental work in the 3-4 weeks before.
Skip facials, chemical peels, or laser treatments on the same area.
Stop using retinol, AHA products, or harsh skincare 2–3 days ahead.
Reschedule if you’ve been ill or recently vaccinated (within 3 weeks).
Aftercare:
Don’t wear makeup for 12–24 hours post-procedure.
