Sculptra used for?

Sculptra is an ideal treatment for patients who are looking to hydrate, lift, volumize and improve skin quality. Collagen and elastin production is dramatically stimulated and improved.

What can you expect

from Sculptra?

Sculptra’s effects develop gradually due to the time needed for the body to stimulate collagen production. Sculptra renews the skin by improving the appearance of wrinkles up to 25 months after the last treatment.

The number of vials needed for a treatment course will depend on the patient’s age as well as the skin quality but is usually 2 – 3 vials. Usually, 1 – 2 vials are given per treatment and each treatment will be 6 to 8 weeks apart.

No Make-up for 24 hours to avoid the risk of infection.

Wash your hands thoroughly before performing your massage.

Apply the 5-5-5 massage principle. Massage the area treated five times per day, for five minutes, for five days.

Avoid alcohol, vigorous exercise, sunbathing, and extremes of heat or cold for 2 days post-treatment. These activities have been found to increase and prolong swelling.

It is advisable to avoid aspirin and alcohol for 12-48 hours after treatment.

Do I need to massage after Scupltra?

Yes. Massage is a very important part of Sculptra aftercare. It ensures the even distribution of the product in the tissue and makes sure collagen production occurs evenly and not in clumps.

Massage 5 minutes, 5 times a day over the first 5 days.

After this massage twice daily for 5 minutes for 6 weeks.

When should I see results from Sculptra?
You should notice gradual results over the next several weeks. In general, it takes approximately six weeks to see some affects and the effects continue to develop up to a year after treatment, sometimes even longer.
