How to use

Foaming Glycolic Wash

Splash your face with lukewarm water to prepare the skin.
Pump a moderate amount of foam into your hands.
Massage gently in circular motions across the face (and neck if desired).
Focus on congested areas like the T‑zone.
Use lukewarm water to remove all residue.
Gently towel dry without rubbing.
Apply moisturizer and broad‑spectrum sunscreen in the morning, since glycolic acid increases sun sensitivity.

Contraindications

NeoStrata specifically notes that Foaming Glycolic Wash is not recommended for sensitive skin.
Avoid use if you have eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, or broken/irritated skin, as glycolic acid can worsen inflammation.
Do not use immediately after chemical peels, microneedling, or laser treatments until the skin has fully healed.
Avoid layering with other exfoliants (retinoids, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, or high-strength vitamin C) to reduce risk of irritation.
Glycolic acid increases photosensitivity. Always apply broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day to prevent burns or pigmentation.
While topical glycolic acid is generally considered safe in low concentrations, consult a healthcare professional before use.
