What Is Plexr?
Plexr is a non-surgical lightning lift treatment that makes use of plasma, the fourth skin’s of matter, to cause a controlled injury to the skins surface to induce collagen and elastin production and cause tightening of the surrounding tissue.
What is Plexr used for?
This form of soft surgery can be used to lift, tighten, rejuvenate, and treat skin lesions.
Aftercare
- Swelling is normal post treatment and may be reduced by making use of a cold compress.
- Anti-inflammatory may be taken should it be necessary.
- Avoid the sun and protect with our SPF sun stick for the eyes.
- Thoclor may be used frequently to soothe and cleanse the skin.
- Pat the area dry, do not rub.
- Do not pick at the wound.
- Do not apply plaster or dressings over the area treated.
How many treatments do I need?
Usually, a single treatment is necessary for skin lesions, however, for all other areas treated, two to three treatments one month apart may be necessary for optimal results. Good before and after care is important to ensure quality results.
Pre treatment care (excluding skin lesions)
- Have a pre-treatment consultation to ensure treatment suitability
- Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, tanning injections and spray tans
- Use a cream with a tyrosinase inhibitor
- Use a strong SPF
- Avoid aesthetic procedures up to 1 month before treatment
- Stop all retinols/tretinoin treatment for 1 week
- Remove contact lenses and lash extensions
