Contradictions

Avoid direct sun exposure for very young infants. Although the product is formulated for babies and children, experts recommend for babies under 6 months to avoid direct sun exposure and instead rely on shade, protective clothing, hats, etc.
Do not rely exclusively on the sunscreen. Sunscreen should be part of a broader sun-protection strategy: use shade, hats, protective clothing, and avoid peak sun hours — especially for babies and small children.
Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. As with all topical sunscreen lotions, avoid applying near eyes; rinse thoroughly with water if contact occurs.
If irritation occurs: discontinue. Despite being formulated to be gentle, fragrance-free, alcohol-free and hypoallergenic, any topical product can potentially cause irritation or allergic reaction — especially in very sensitive skin. Many sources advise patch-testing on a small area before full use.
Not a substitute for physical barriers for infants. Sunscreen is safe only from about 6 months — for newborns or very young babies, sun protection should rely on shade and protective clothing rather than sunscreen alone.
